Cataract surgery was something I put off for years as I had retinal issues as well as cataracts. When it became apparent that I could no longer put off the surgery, I returned to Dr. Richardson. He, too, had concerns about my retina and sent me to the Retina Institute of California to have my retinal condition evaluated. Only after their approval was given was Dr. Richardson willing to proceed. I appreciated his concern and thorough researching of my total eye condition. Dr. Richardson's entire staff (office staff, nurses, and doctors) did everything they could to make this surgery a success. They were efficient, caring, supportive, and informative.
