Cataract and clear lens exchange surgery

SGVEye is your local resource for the newest developments in cataract and clear lens exchange surgery.

Premium IOLs

Premium IOLs represent the most technologically advanced implant designs. To help your patients achieve the most satisfactory visual outcome from surgery, SGVEye uses a range of premium IOLS—accommodating, multifocal and toric. Each offers distinct benefits for restoring vision and for positive post-surgical refractive outcomes:

Crystalens® accommodating IOLs

The first, and currently only, accommodating intraocular lenses available in the U.S. They incorporate a hinge into the IOL design, allowing the optic portion of the lens to move in the eye in a way analogous to that of the natural crystalline lens. Crystalens IOLs offer the best quality distance and intermediate vision of any premium IOL currently available in the U.S.

ReSTOR® multifocal IOLs

Stationary implants that use an apodized surface to gradually blend the focusing power along the lens surface. They offer excellent near vision as well as an aspheric refractive surface for distance clarity.

ReZoom™ multifocal IOLs

These distribute light over five optical zones and provide a more natural range of vision. Also stationary implants, they provide very good distance and intermediate ranges overall.

Toric IOLs

These are designed to neutralize preoperative corneal astigmatism. With these IOLs, patients can expect excellent, uncorrected distance vision.
